Kore White-USF Stud

I hate to report this but Kore White had a game high 15 points and 7 rebounds in USF's latest 20 point win in only 25 minutes. USF's coach said they're lineup will feature White, Fitzpatrick, Rudd, Poland and Collins. How come he couldn't bring it at FAU?? He even went 3/3 from 3 pointers last game!?!? I talked to Pablo earlier this week and he told me that Deigo worked out Kore and himself all summer to develop their game. Imagine what could've been, Kore and Dragan this year?

I wish Kore the best.

He had his opportunity here and it didn't work out.  It just doesn't make sense for a program like FAU to waste a scholly on a guy who played to his potential only 2 games a year.  Kore is on his third school now so that is a big indication of slow development and not living up to what was expected.  If he becomes a great player elsewhere, I am okay with that.  No hard feelings toward him at all.

Everyone who witnessed any FAU games on a regular basis the past 2 years understands this.

I THINK its because he's a grad student, but someone else would know better than me

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Tale of the tape…

11/5 - Had 2 points and 1 rebound in 16 exhibition minutes against powerhouse Eckerd (DII).

11/10 - 3 points and 2 rebounds accompanied four fouls in 16 minutes against UCF (RPI 60).

11/16 - 2 points, 4 rebounds against Maryland eastern Shore (0-6, RPI 347) in 13 minutes.

11/17 - Posted a 15 point and 5 rebound performance in 25 minutes against Loyola Chicago (RPI 232).

11/18 - 6 points and 3 rebounds in 21 minutes, against Western Michigan (RPI 137).

USF "Stud"??

We can circle back on this after Bradley tomorrow, but totally on board with fauowl's surmise - its consistency that was his nemesis as an Owl.

And you are already seeing him "transfer" that trait into his tenure as a Bull, as outlined above.

Re: Kore White-USF Stud

Looks like typical Kore White play to me…3 times a year he plays out of his mind and people think he's next level, then the rest of the season he goes back to same old uninterested Kore.

Re: Kore White-USF Stud

We'll see how he does over the course of the next few months but I don't think he'll make a big impact for USF. He was always too soft to be effective down low.

I cringed when Kore took 3 ptrs last season…if Dragan takes any 3 ptrs this season I am going on the court and puching him on the mouth.  Anyone who takes a 3 ptr who is over 6'8" and not named Lebron should be benched.

Then for your sake, I sure hope Chris Bryant does not work out…. the kid plays Kevin Durant style…. 6 foot 9 but can take a 3 and take it to the hoop.
