If you care about this program, you will fight the hire of Mike Jarvis.

There will be NOTHING positive out of him coaching this program.

Respect your "opinion" albiet biased given your "involvement" with the current staff… ;)

his resume is going to be tough to topple…

"involvement"    man, don't worry about me.  At this point, I am just looking out for what's best for the program.

Just to give you a heads up St. John's is in the top 3 of all time winningest programs. So he has reached the top and you do not want him here!

Being from NY I grew up watching St. Johns way back in the day. Correction they WERE a huge college program back when Carnesecca was the coach and you had guys like Zendon Hamilton, Felipe Lopez, Malik Sealy, Ron Artest. Now you have Anthony Mason Jr. and thats about it.

I wouldn't call them a huge college program anymore

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Re: Mike Jarvis: Rolling the dice...

Being from NY as well, they are  obviously not a huge program right now. St. John's is a big name in college basketball, especially when they win. They will be good in two yrs. They have a good recruiting class coming in and a good staff.

Anyway I don't want Jarvis here but I did hear Steve Lapis name being thrown around.
