canadian: i took your first FYI as a joke and i thought it was funny… however, in response to your second post and reply to butterfly, i understand your feeling that its verbose and too long, but it is what it is… i said from the beginning, if it's too long, don't read it… these are my feelings and i was writing as it came to me, with no editing
No worries, I guess my university-system sarcasm was lost on some people.
But I do understand what you're saying, it's just that if you are submitting this to various "authorities" sometimes being overly wordy doesn't help you get your point across. That's all I was trying to say.
Remember… one must be able to comprehend before sarcasm can be appreciated… ;D

"FYI", how about you just read what he has to say and TRY to understand (sorry he writes ABOVE your level of comprehension).
You must not of been taught properly in Canada…
Constructive Criticism

Butterfly, why do you have to be such a douche?

I'm not an expert on the human brain, but is it possible that the part of the brain that controls excessive self-righteousness is blocking the part that can process sarcasm? ;)

I'm not being a douche…its obvious by reading what 09 writes that he truly cares about the school. More then anyone else I have seen on this board. And because people can not write like he can, they have to bash him and make stupid remarks about it. I'm not saying they have to agree with it, but to say something like, "FYI, editorials do not have to satisfy gordon rule" is pretty douche like to me, and make it sound like he is jealous because those words could never come out of his mouth.
I hope that editorial gets posted and I hope it hits home…somehow.
Can we all create pen names and just get crazy with it? We can all be like little Thomas Jeffersons with the Federalist papers.
Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.
