about 12 min left and looking much better. FAU still behind though. Wish this could have turned around earlier.

What an awful first half. Hard to tell over the radio if it was bad defense or just USA being ridiculously hot(they are shooting 60% from the field and over 50% from 3)…likely a bit of each. I feared a let down tonight after a good win on Thursday. Hopefully we just build on a better 2nd half and beat MTSU next time out.

In any event, for FAU to win in a situation like this one WAS SUPPOSED TO BE, they had better shoot better than 3-17 from behind the arc - a mere .176%…Yikes!

Add five of those back as buckets, and actually defend against the other team, who shot .609% from behind the arc - 14 of 23 (have to admit they were on fire), and we could have easily won it…

One thing is for sure - IT AINT HAPPENING AGAIN…when they come to Boca the Wizard has left Oz - and we will be out for serious blood…get ready USA…smoke time when you hit Boca…

In response to really all of the above posts about our radio situation:

You can thank nelligan Sports Marketing for this wonder of a creation, and for the absolute trash station that we air on…if you listen to the programming after the game it is nothing more than some washed up has been "talk show host" given absolutely the worst, barbaric "dating advice" incouraging loser call-ins to womanize ladies - dropping words like "screw", and "hit that" ever other paragraph…i am going to write a letter to the department asking:

1. Why they need an outsourcing company to represent thier media interests - and take a big chunk of the profit as well…

2. Why they chose to affiliate themselves with a station that airs primairly smut before and after our games air…

3. Why they cant get a sound engineer who actually is awake in the studio…

4. Why other commercials that have nothing to do with our sponsors and our financial interests are running during the games, and then ours are ran in batches of 10 in a row at the end of a game - when no one is listening anymore…

Great job Nelligan - NOT…get rid of them…never did it that way when i was there, and this is pathetic…

First off, let's just be happy to have a radio link to the games, there was a time when everyone complained that there was no free access to the games, if you want better feeds for the games, the official site does offer a Owls Pass with a feed for them.

Plus, you don't have to listen to the station if you don't like the format - the fact remains that there is a FREE link made available, which is an improvement from the past. The reality of all this is, this does cost money to produce, so be happy to have a FREE link and moving to another station could prove to be dificult, it's not like FAU is a big draw and it is about the money a station can generat during any air programs.
