The fact is to charge $5 because the "die hard" fans will pay for is exactly the wrong point.  You are correct, we will pay for it, but the fact is it is bad business.  The most important thing to this team right now, bar none, is putting butts in the seat, PERIOD.  If anyone believes that an extra $7K in total parking fees over the entire season is the difference of this team becoming a better product on the court your crazy and you don't understand the big picture.

My suggestion is to cut ticket prices to the bare minimum until certain levels of attendance are achieved and I can guarantee you we are not anywhere near there.  This team has potential over the next few years, stop the nickel and dimeing now, get the locals and students involved and in a couple of years you can start to raise ticket prices and nobody will care.

I have never said that.  In fact, I agree that the $5 fee is a bad idea.  My beef is with those that want to park elsewhere in order to not let FAU get the revenue that they deem necessary, and then complain about issues relating to things that require revenue.  Read my posts please.
