I don't care for the Dirty Birds much, you would be better off with the Burly Birds or Burly Owls theme, JMHO.

You do have time to bounce all these idea around.  I know that the Burly Owls was used at one point at the very beginning for football, I'll try to locate a picture for you guys.

Well I have been very involved in the athletics for the last few years, and I hate to you tell but I know NOTHING about the "prOWLers."  John Cook and his crew have totally out done them in every aspect. The "prOWLers" might as well hang up the spirit shoes and give their T-Shirt size to Cook so he can order them some new threads.

I am NOT trying to bash ANYONE (I'm working on being nicer, so everyone can "warm" up to me  ;) ) but I do NOT REMEMBER seeing the "prOWLers" at any basketball games this year. Just football, is that all they care about?

Well butterfly I am new to the forum but most importantly I am a prOWLer. And i have been one for the past two years and I must say I have been very dedicated to the cause of building spirit and tradition around FAU. I understand that basketball season is a bit of a slump for our organization but you also have to understand that for most of our members, a lot of things happen during the spring that don't allow them to be able to give all of their time to the organization that they do in the fall. It sounds like a cop out but when most of you members are freshman that is what happens.

And the criticizing is unnecessary.

Just for you info…I am not a freshman.

I work in the athletics department.  I know everyone on this board "claims" they do, but I really do.

And well, I was just saying that I did not see any prOWLers at basketball games.

You guys must be a "football" only organization.

Nunzio, WPierso3 & I are all members of the Sexy's. Regardless of who the coach is we will still be out there supporting the team and trying to create somewhat of a home court advantage.

Yah we were the founders of the Sexy Rexys and we do plan on being out there regardless, I hope that it is Balado, cause that will just fuel our fire that much more for next year….we want him in bad…..
