It's not just the Belt.  The entire country is afraid of FIU.  Hahaha.  get real.  When you develop a tradition of excellence in any sport, come talk to us.  You may have a good year here and there, but please don't think of yourselves as anything at this point.  The same could be said about us.  We need to prove something as well.  Right now, WKU is the team to beat in the Belt.  Let someone beat them consistently to win the Belt and then talk.

I agree with you that we are all chasing WKU in the Belt. But you have to agree, so far IT has shown that he can lure top quality players to consider FIU (a sunbelt school). Now he is showing that he can also coach the talent with the marked difference in the performances between the start of the season and now. That does not guarantee anything, but I'm sure there will be a lot fewer schools playing us that will want to assume assured wins in preseason.

We're taking you're advice, one step at a time.
