This is hard to understand unless he just hates school so much. Leaving early to go play overseas? Doesn't make sense. Jarvis did seem to harp on Ray all year but I think it's because he knew Ray was better. I think a lot of us here know that Ray was not at his best this year. Ray seemed like the type of kid who cared about his education…guess not. Oh well, now we've got another roster spot open.

I hear summers in Latvia are nice.

Strange because you don't necessarily categorize a kid who keeps his GPA over 3.0 as someone that doesn't care about school, he must have been putting the work in to keep the grades up. Who knows what the drive is behind this, I'm sure part of it is that he's tired of the beating that he took from Jarvis, he sure was hard on him and tried to make him a different player for the next level.

I wish him the best…and in all sincerity, he could probably make a few bucks playing And1 Mixtape or Globetrotters ball. People really enjoy watching him play.
