FAU won't pony up. They dont care as much about BBall as they do Football. If they had to pony up the money to keep Howard they would but to keep Rex, they dont care

WTF is going on here.  If this is because a confliction with Angelos then get Angelos the F@ck out of here since he already wants out so bad.

If all this is true then we are probably gonna be set back a few years in bball now.  And if this does go down dont be surprised to start seeing players and reccruits bailing.

This is completely crazy and pathetic.   

I doubt current players will bail. Some of them had conflicts with his personality. Big conflicts too... to the point one of them threw a chair across the locker room during halftime and had to be restrained.

I don't think we'll be set back at all. As long as all our recruits stay true to their commitment i don't think it matters much who our coach is.

I love Rex but lets be honest here we're losing Rex Walters NOT Mike Kryzewski. I don't think we're going to lose recruits and be set back for years because our coach who was here for 2 years is moving on. If he's not the coach anymore so be it, life goes on. I think these kids will come here regardless

That depends who we bring in.  It is less likely current players will leave.  But it could have a negative effect on our recruits.  They, as well as the players Rex signed last year have an open door now to leave without sitting out a year. 

I give you 3 reasons why he would leave….money, money, and more money.

He doesn't need it but when you go to an easier conference with a much higher chance at making the NCAA tournament each year and a 35% raise you'd be crazy not to take it.

I'm disappointed in Rex more then I am angry I can't say I blame him if the money amount is true.

I'd rather let Angelos go then Rex. He wants out so badly just get rid of him already
