Why is this even an argument?  We are all Owls fans.  Playing a tourney game at home is important for the school.  It will likely draw the season's biggest crowd, which means more ticket revenue, more parking money, more merchandise sales, and more money for the athletics department as a whole.  Regardless of whether you prefer to watch baseball or basketball, getting that extra game on campus is good for everyone.   ;D

What!?! Where's the argument? I want them to win just like everyone else does.

i looked at the lines for tonight and they are looking like this:

UALR -9 over UD  :o  Never saw that one coming…UD spanked em by 15 last time they played…….

USA -13.5 over UNO…….

Well there it is…Denver lost 66-55, we'll be hosting again this year. Who would have thought that possible at the beginning of the year?! On a side note, UNO also lost, so there's still a chance we could move up, although I'm just happy we are playing at home. Hopefully we can have a halfway decent crowd, although it is the middle of spring break.

Good for us. I actaully hope we lose on Saturday, in any sport its very difficult to beat a team three times in one season, if we see WKU in the postseason our chances would improve. Weird but true. Plus the seven/eigth seed doesn't really matter, its anyones game, everyone is plus or minus a game @ in the 6-10 seeds.

i agree i would love to beat fiu in the playoffs but i think they have our number, their big men are jsut too much for ours.  They held CLos to minor points and their guards are too much even for ours….THEY MATCH UP WELL, and have our number this year……wish it wasnt true.

I agree, we just couldn't ever find a way to consistently score against them so I hope we don't face them. Any idea on who we will face though? or with that not be determined till saturday?
