Serious PG in for a visit this week...
Ray Taylor
Now, i know what you are thinking…BUT Before saying ANYTHING about his size, you had better look at these quotes about him:
Sun-Sentinel (5-22-07) -"Point guard Ray Taylor, a second-team Class 4A All-state player at Miami Pace, has transferred to American Heritage. The 5-foot-6 Taylor averaged 15 points and seven assists, helping Pace to the state championship in March. He gives American Heritage one of the top inside-outside combinations in the area, with 6-10 center Eloy Vargas."
Rivals.com (6-5-07) - "After watching Ray Taylor for a while you realize you are watching a high-major quality player – no matter what size he is. Taylor is fearless. He will drive the lane against much bigger players, and has a nice floater in the lane. He can kill you from outside, and there wasn't a batter ball-handler in the 114-team tournament field."
CAA Insider (7-18-07) - "Ray Taylor looks like he should get swallowed against the opposition but nothing is further from the truth. The pint size point can drive and kick with ease while setting up teammates for easy buckets. On the other end of the floor he’s a straight pest to ball handlers."
Taylor will join Greg Gantt who had an unofficial visit already and returns for his second.

I don't care about HIS size…I just want some recruits with size. I know we have 1 center transferring that will be eligible next year, but we will have a pretty big hole at PF to replace with Monroe graduating. We need more big bodies!
if all goes well, there will be another big body, who is skilled, added to the mix…
1PG
2SG or 1SG/1PF
1C
thats the plan…
we will be shooting our way to the dance…and when you put three guys on the floor who can flat out drain from down town, you dont need size that much…
