I know this is kicking a dead horse but the members of the FIU board claim there is no rivalry between us. We've been developing a rivalry between MTSU and Troy. Those might turn into something bigger.

FAU is 5-2 versus FIU since 2000…

THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS SAYING A WORD.

yeah, time to "dismount" - the horse is dead and:

1.  Media coverage from a few sources
2.  Budgets have been spent on the game
3.  Fan support from our end is good

who cares how many fans FIU doesnt have, or how little they are involved in thier hoops teams games…

what is their average attendance the last five home conference games?

Answer: 563

What was the attendance the game before (FAU):

1171

(more than DOUBLE)

Nah, no rivalry………………………

Reality:

they sit there and claim they are better then us and smarter then us which I know isn't true but not worth arguing over. So all these big FIU fans yet none of them will show up Wednesday
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

The fans can say whatever they want, if you are referring the the 3 posters on their message board, but if you speak to the athletes who are the ones that determine where their rivalries are there is one in Football as well as Basketball.

They can pretend they have a rivalry outside the Sunbelt but until they win something, anything, in the belt it's just empty talk from from a few ignorant fans.
