Yes, it is absolutely a booster violation. It doesn't matter if it is a recruit or a current team member. Student athletes can not be treated more favorable than a regular student.
You cannot give something to a scholarship athlete unless it is something that is being given to all students. Such as free T-shirts, free pizza. So if there is an event and students get free pizza, the student athletes can get it as well. But you can't just decide to give the basketball team free pizza…that has to be done through the proper compliance channels.
So down the road Miami can pay 70+ players and buy hookers and abortions and I cant give a seat away? Sounds about right. :

In our first round of District play, Stefan had 37 points in a 68-56 win. FAU assistant Tim Kaine was in the house. Next game is on Friday.
We could've used his 37 against FIU this past Saturday. They played a zone D against us and unfortunately none of our guys are too fond of driving to the net and drawing a foul. So we were ice cold from long range and lost by 20.
We have a game Thursday night against Denver. Do you guys plan on coming to any of the remaining home games? The Denver game is probably going to be very boring because of the style of offense they run
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!
