Also, yes, he's an 11 year veteran but lets address the 800 pound gorilla in the room… 11 years in the NBA with as many teams. His longest gig was an assistant coach that lasted a personal best of 3 years.

He was a role player in the NBA.  There are plenty of guys that hang around the league for a long time, bouncing from team to team.  None of that has anything to do with his ability to coach or his lack of basketball knowledge.  Take this year's National Championship coach guy for example:

As for his coaching stints, the NBA is a cut throat business.  Lasting a handful of years someplace as an assistant is pretty par for the course.

You are right, there's nothing wrong with a question, I just don't think that this is the right question to ask.  If you are questioning his lack of experience as a college coach or as a recruiter, then I'm right there with you.  Those are things that must be answered.  Curry's basketball acumen is not.  That is probably his biggest asset.
