WANTED: Five Highly Talented Recruits

Unless we lost a scholarship, we have 13 scholarships for basketball…which gives us 6 open ships, not 5.  We need some height on the inside and quickness at the point.

not necessarily…there are still some on the fence…where is Pena going?  some school is now getting him, for example…

we neede to wait and see what he comes up with…we may all be pleasantly surprised… :)

or, we may need a hankerchief  :'(

If he is not in the draft, then someone will get him…although no one is listed right now…he would be a first team SBC player hands down…sick numbers this guy is putting up…

i have 4 years of eligibility left, think i could try out for Mj's squad, i think i have pretty good character and i def want to be at FAU again!  LOL

I have always wondered this…since you (I assume) attended FAU weren't you using up your eligibility while you were there? Wether you were playing sports or not? Or do you have to be an "athlete" to use up your eligibility?

I believe an athlete is given 5 years to use up 4 years of eligibility. So, if you graduated from college in 4 years without playing any sport, you may have one year of eligibility left. Thats the way I interpret it.

yah there was a 40+ guy that had his degree and went back to school for a masters and walked on to a 1-aa team….i think he played for one year
