2009-2010 Schedule Discussion Thread

Schedule is looking pretty good so far…potentially three top 25 teams…Maryland, UF, and WKU…

Was very happy to hear that we got the home and home with USF, even though we once again have to play them away from Boca…now if they can "convince" UCF to do the same we are looking nice…

Jarvis had said that solid in state competition was a goal they were Hoping to accomplish over time…

WKU? Top 25? Really? Even without Mendez-Valdez

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Lol…

Mendez-Valdez is a guy i'm personally glad to see GONE…guy killed us…

But yeah, they have a very solid class coming in, although smaller than our's in numbers of course…

Could definitely see it by the time we play them…

Looks like were shaping up to have a hard non-conference schedule.. Should be good compitition before conference play starts.

Just curious: Is Howard helping with that connection at all?

Looks like Jarvis is going the same route as Howard. Play tougher opponents even if it means getting blown out, you get paid for it and your players start to learn things. I trust the man and what he's doing. He had a rough start to his FAU career but not entirely his fault, tough to recruit when you're hired a week or two before recruiting ends.

Either way I like it and maybe eventually these teams will return the favor and come to the burrow which will definitely get students interested and should have a great turn out
