I missed all the events tonight. Is Crews in trouble too? I've been reading the posts and looked at the stats. Crews didn't get any playing time.

Crews did get in trouble too, yes, but not enough trouble to get sent home.

FAU hosts FIU on Wednesday night and Troy (No. 8) gets a rematch with MTSU (No. 9).

For Troy, five games had to go perfectly (including an FAU loss) for it to host a first-round game. And it happened.

Troy came back from 8 points down (with three straight threes) to tie its game at South Alabama and handed the Jags their third straight loss with good defense and 8-for-8 free throwing shooting in overtime, winning 92-88. It was Troy's first-ever win over USA.

Sorry, I posted that based on what the Troy announcers presented as the bracket. I think the entire league is confused. This is as bad as the "everyone is champion" football garbage.

You should know better than to trust SBC announcers!

dont put this on the counselors…i know them all and they do MORE than a great job…you have no idea what some of these guys put them through…its like a babysitting job at times…and it will end beginning next year…we had to take some chances on Rice, and Crews…if you recall these guys were late adds…Monroe as well…but Monroe has gotten the picture…Rice still thinks he is here to play basketball and thats it…thankfully the season is almost over…i dont care how much he can score - he killed us last night…immature, and lacking in character…its called a team…

we would have won this game easily if those two were in the line up that had matured and become dominant…cant expect Cuka and Alarcon to take up all that slack…and thats just what happened…they hacked monroe to death and we were done…

I agree. This is not on the counselors. These are men that are getting paid with a free education. It would be one thing if they were freshman…and I do believe in second chances. Rice has already wasted his second chance. Let's win with the rest of the guys that have worked so hard to get here. They deserve it. Go Owls!!

I don't know that it's totally fair to put it all on the Sun Belt. I visited Troy's site and their women's basketball online media guide shows that the tournament is being held at Earl K. Long Gym in Lafayette, Louisiana. Only problem with that is that Earl K. Long Gym is not where the tournament is being held. It's a completely different facility. Earl K. Long Gym is an on-campus facility owned by the University of Louisiana. The Cajundome which is where the tournament is being played is owned by the city of Lafayette and is located away from campus.

Maybe it's the Troy radio crew that is wrong?
