81%…simply ridiculous?!

Crazy, isn't it!
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

I hope this lights a fire under them and they play 2 good complete halves vs. UNT on Saturday.
They haven't really been playing two complete halves in awhile. Something about this team… they're always scrambling in the end to either maintain a lead or regain it.
Guys who used to score in the double digits every night are putting up single digit efforts this season and I think that goes beyond losing Royster. Nobody's really sure why it's happening because everybody knows the talent is there, the coaches know how to coax it out of the guys… it just isn't there.
I've noticed that, and granted it's a pretty superficial observation, but whenever we lose we seem to have less than four guys in double digits for points on the game. If we have at least four guys doing double digits, we tend to win.
The "problem" is that we don't have one guy who consistently puts up 25-30 points per game so several people have to contribute to get us up into the 70s, 80s, 90s. You know? It's tough to win when Gantt and Ray have 15-18 but guys like Grier and Tucker only manage 3-7 points while still other guys like Jordan McCoy or Andre Mattison are credited with having "career nights" for kicking in a whopping 7-8 points.

Something about this team…
They just need a capable scoring threat underneath…aside from put-backs and drives to the hoop.
Teams don't really have to worry about that facet right now.
Coming soon enough!
Imagine what we will be able to do with a big man who catches the ball under the basket then can pass it off to a cutting, or spotting up teammate.

Or just ram it down their throats….

I still can't get over the 80% shooting by Denver in the second half.
