Botley stripped the ECU defense for a nice layup. The Owls lead 48-33 with 13:23 to play.

ECU has hit a couple of baskets, closing the deficit to 13. The game feels tighter.

The Owls foul on a second chance shot by ECU and it goes in. With the three-point play, ECU now trails 54-42.

Owls miss a layup on a great back-door pass. The crowd groans. But the Owls' lead is still comfortable at 12, with 8:00 to play.

Penn just muscled his way to a great first score. He put in the layup with a defender hanging on his arms.

Raffington misses an open hook shot, but FAU gets the offensive rebound and Raffington hits one, with the foul. 58-44 FAU with 6:57 to play. The Owls are hanging tight.

Turman gets 4 quick points, one shot off a nice pass to him wide open at the foul line. Raffington hit one FT. he has 9 points.  Turman has 10 points. The Owls lead 63-50 and have been keeping the game to a 12- to 13-point lead, despite some better offensive play by ECU.
