Its a very young squad, so there will be growing pains with this team.
It became a young team by the coaches choice. Jarvis choose to make this a young team because he had let go "selfish" players. And history seems to repeating itself with the new guys he brought in.

I understand that the bench is "young", but two seniors and two juniors start.

Seems to me that when the Moody-Gantt combo is on, we're very tough to beat. Other than those two, it doesn't seem like we have any guys stepping up. I don't know about you guys but I expected a lot more out of Bertone this season (although he has had some flashes) and expected a hell of a lot more out of Sekelja. How are you 7'0 and not averaging a double-double against teams like Stetson, Arkansas State and South Alabama???
You nailed it. Pablo is good but in consistent at times, and dragan has been a disappointment so far. We will go as far as gantt and moody can take us.

Well, if you think about it the best possible scenario is that we win out, go to the Big Dance and end up facing a team like this again. What you said is true but this team, the one that "will take us to places we've never been before" needs to gel and everyone needs to contribute consistently.
Gantt graduates this year, so unless something changes next year we'll have one 20-pointer on the squad (Moody) with everybody else chipping in 3, 5, 7 points per game. I know some people are defensive players and I know some people are there for assists but I've seen us win very few games without at least three people scoring in the double digits.
That means Jarvis et al has til the end of the season to get these guys to significantly improve their offensive output during gametime. Offseason practice is one thing, gametime is another. If he can't do that, we're going to be a mid-level SBC team next year too and having the same conversations about Jarvis all over again.

Managed to escape the bases loaded scenario from Memphis, and…
And now Memphis has bases loaded with 1 out...
Good news, we have some pitching.Bad news, so do they.
Couldn't capitalize on a bases loaded situation in the 8th, and…
