looking at the box score…looks like Royster or Hughley didn't play tonight. Anyone have any inside info on this?
yea… sanchez is still out from a "leg injury" according to coach
brett is out with a "hand problem" according to coach… apparently it happened during the late second half against UNF

the guys played a good game - 6 players TOTAL for all intents and purposes…tough loss to swallow, but as everyone stated above, definite progress…
they are finally starting the gel a bit on offense despite the losses of Graham and Holley…
Nwoji is going to be a consistent threat from down town…he is getting more comfortable with being an offensive PG as time progresses…really like his game's development…
On the above:
Hughley has anywhere from 2-3 more weeks until his return - knee injury…
Royster hurt his wrist late in the second half versus North Florida and did not return…he was banged up while tussling for a rebound…walked off the court holding it, but they didnt take him to the back or anything afterwards…he just sat on the bench and had ice on it…they havent given a "timeline" on him returning…
From what i have learned of Monmouth, they are a very volatile team…but still trying to "discover" their identity…they dont have a pure threat in the post, or at guard play on offense, and rely on what the coach calls, a "team game"…no one stands out…

Still waiting for the day there's no excuse in a loss :-\

if all you want to do is balk, then maybe start a new "rant" thread?
did you even listen to the game?

with all due respect, what was the purpose of it?
here's a salt shaker…stop by the teams locker room and sprinkle some…

I hate losing, there is 0 excuse for it. And good teams find ways to win.
I won't comment on the immaturity of your response, either.

at least you had the guts to rerspond…i honestly didnt think you would ;)
bro you're too negative…
who does like to lose?? NO BODY.
but cmon, the team shot a season high 57% from the floor…the 6 man team we fielded played a great game overall…
did we lose, YES, but if all you have to say after the effort they gave is:
"Still waiting for the day there's no excuse in a loss"
i question the lense you view life through…….

Since you brought it up, the "lense" I view my life through is one in which I always try to get better the first time. I don't mope around and make excuses for myself and why I got put in such a terrible disposition, I pull myself up by my bootstraps and go at it hard. If I still lose, I don't say "well this and this and that happened so its forgiveable".
FAU has better leadership, better players and too good of a foundation to accept losing.
Here's a question for you though. Every year we seem to play with 6 or 7 players come conference time. I realize that grades, team rules and a lot of external stuff comes into play. Why does this happen so often to us?
