i was thinking a box and 1 defensive scheme for Curry before the game…dunno if MJ ever employees that defensive strategy…only FAU Coach to use that previously was Billerman…

Richardson had his freshman night tonight (6-17) against a quality opponent…he's young and this is to be expected…glad to get that out of the way…

given his skill level, would be quite surprised to see it again…

Agreed. The one area we got beat up was on the boards. They out rebounded us, including the offensive rebounds.

Curry is definetly getting drafted. The NBA is desperate for shooters and he's a great one. He's a lock to be a first round pick and almost certainly a lottery pick. That said, this Owl team continues to impress me and I think we will be real competitive come SBC play…especially with Carlos Monroe back (crossing fingers). On to James Madison tomorrow. They lost to Loyola-Maryland tonight by 10. This is a game that this team should win. After that three more winnable OOC games, so a 7-2 record going into conference play is a real possibility.

We beat the spread and looked pretty good doing it.  Our offense suffered but we were good enough on defense to prevent it from getting too too out of hand.  If our FG% had been 50% it would have been a 1 pt game.  Crazy that we ended up shooting better from outside the arc.
