Ultimately rebounding reared its ugly head for the Owls in this game. In the 1st half they limited ODU to 2 offensive boards, 2 second chance points. 2nd half ODU got 8 offensive rebounds for 7 second chance points.

FINAL: ODU 68 FAU 57. Poole led the team with 15 points, 5-12 from the field. Botley had 10 points, 3-13 from the field. Penn led the team with rebounds with 12 whiled adding 6 points.

FAU shot 37% from the field, 38% from three, 68% from the line. All signs pointing to a tough shooting day.

Honestly didn't think ODU would score enough after the first half. FAU just couldn't keep it up for a full 40 minutes.

Despite the result FAU clearly didn't go through the motions like they did against Charlotte. The little things are what the staff is going to have to lean on going forward as a building block.
