I'd like to see him look for his shot more often and also penetrate the defense, which he can do.  FAU's offense falls apart with him out of the game.  No other legit PG to take the ball up the floor.

This is where losing Holley really hurts…and i mean REALLY…he was our back-up PG…also, the teams second best three point shooter…which definitely takes it up a notch…

Cuka is a great kid…but not certain of his ability to play at this level…he will give us some good minutes in league play though…

If it makes anyone feel better, SMU is 0-2 so far against power teams Alabama State and Southern.

Their OOC schudule is nothing, just like it was last year. Houston Baptist, Paul Quinn, Centenary College and other small colleges.

went to the game…I agree FAU's game to lose.  FAU didn't benefit with a couple lousy calls in my opinion.  BC came out of the half with hard fouls…several that didn't get called yet obvious.  One tackle in front of FAU's bench they didn't call that resulted in 2 for BC on a fast break.  Unwarranted Tech on Rex really hurt.  I sat right behind the FAU bench and didn't hear him say anything at all so not sure how the ref determined a Tech was in order.  Also the ref was the farthest of the 3 on the court as he was on the opposite side and opposite end of the court to the FAU bench.  This one particular ref seemed to favor the home team in this one and the T really influenced the outcome of the game.

They said something on the radio that Rex had his hands up… I don't know if that has anything to do with the tech or how it could.  Anyone remember how many of those he got last year? I'm sure he's on pace to brake that number. ::)

The chat did seem slow a few times, I don't know if it was putting to much of a load on the server??

Also, IllinoisOwl, could you see any of the previous comments once you log-in - that is an adjustment I can fix easy enough.

I couldn't see what was posted prior to signing in.  I like the chat room though.

Yes, He did have his hands up as if to say, "were was the call?"…but I didn't hear him say anything on that play.  Maybe I just missed it but the ref who T'ed him up was about four times as far from Rex as I was.
Not sure how many he had last year but 6 sticks in my mind somehow…don't quote me on it though.

Paul Quinn just went toe-to-toe with Troy (which gave 'Bama a game), winning by 7 late until Troy tied it with seconds to play. Troy got the momentum and won 133-131.
