It's Jarvis' job to make them believe. That's the point of motivational speeches.

Rebounding is another thing. Anyone at the Miami game could see why we were out-rebounded: we just don't have the height of these other teams.

You can listen to all the motivational speeches you want, but each individual must take the proper actions to achieve the results.  The words mean nothing unless it is followed by action.  And the players must learn & adapt to the game time situations.  This is a young team and they must go through these steps.  This team has already shown they are fighters (last year, this would have ended up a 30 point deficit).
