GAME THREAD: FAU @ Charlotte - January 23, 2020
Owls down 68-66 with 14 seconds left after leading for over 38 minutes of the game.
I don’t want to hear we were +5 on the road so it was a good loss. We were leading and usually by 10+ until inside 30 seconds.
We need to learn to play a complete game.
Owls allow a freshman to lead the Charlotte comeback late.

Owls lead for over 38 minutes, but fall to 12-8 (4-3) after the 49ers convert on 6 of their last 7 FG attempts.
Heartbreaking loss for FAU, who allow defending #CUSA Freshman of the Week, Jahmir Young to drain a CH 24 Pts.

UPDATED SCHEDULE: 2019-20 FAU Men's Basketball Schedule - FAU Owl's Nest
Charlotte shot 55% in the second half. That, paired with the 'Niners finally showing off their defensive prowess in the final ten minutes of the second half, spelled doom for FAU.

Regardless, we were supposed to lose, and did.
COMPLETELY agree though, that it is very disheartening and old when you lead for the vast portion of the contest.
And this is becoming a pattern.
Have to start saving some super wrinkles for the latter portions of the game.
It is very cool that excitement is returning to the program, but we are still a long way from being a good basketball team in my opinion. Better - no doubt.
