FAU 73 UNT 76
Owls need a clutch 3 to tie it for overtime.
Marquan Botley isn't a stranger to clutch 3-pointers.
I love dropkicks and fat guy touchdowns.

FAU 76 UNT 78
The Owls showed promise offensively in the first half, but couldn't put it together in the second half.
I love dropkicks and fat guy touchdowns.

FAU 54.7% FG 42.8% 3P
UNT 56.3% FG 50.0% 3P
Justin Raffington grabs a career 27 points, and 6 rebounds.
Owls only got 7 points from the bench tonight and were 12-of-19 at the line (63.2%)
Kelvin Penn played aggressive in the paint tallying 3 blocks.
FAU won the boards 30-25, but turned the ball over 13 times to that of 7 for UNT.
I love dropkicks and fat guy touchdowns.

FAU has got to do better at the free throw line.
Period.
You just can't rely on structured offense to do all of the scoring, as set plays intentionally get broken up by opponent's hacks, and then you are sending guys there who consistently miss. This obviously results in too many FREE points given away, and has hurt us quite a few times on the year.
I mean (not that he is in this camp) but Bertone missed the first point of the game with no one even around him.
Change the above results to 15-of-19 which is only 78.9% and they win the game.

+1 Also, Justin should not be shooting jump shots, he was extremely effective in the paint and he went away from it missing 3 or 4 jump shots.

We totally broke down in the second half. Bad luck, youth, you name it… sunk ourselves there.
