Tucker drives and his shot is altered, off the mark, and Troy grabs the rebound.

Game time.

FINAL:

Troy  83  FAU 82

Trojans overcome a 14 point deficit with 8:28 left, to stun the Owls.

Tucker visibly shaken afterwards, stays on the floor by himself, and has an emotional three minutes prior to leaving for the locker room.

I'm thinking the basketball team had a worse season than the football team, all things considered, although it's close.

Can it be next year already? What an embarrassment on both accounts.

Troy 54.4% FG, 57.1% 3PT

FAU 53.6% FG, 50.0% 3PT


Will Weathers and Greg Gantt each have 28 points to lead all scorers. Pablo Bertone nets 20 points for the Owls.

Richardson finishes play at FAU Arena with 12 points, and Alex Tucker dishes out 10 assists.


The Owls lose their half time advantage in the rebounding to a feisty second half Trojan squad 29-26 overall.

What a disappointing season. Never though Royster would be such a big loss with a team with 4 returning starters and Junior leadership. Oh well, let's get Moody and company aboard and look forward to next season, unless a miracle happens in Hot Springs.  ???
