Miscommunication by Raffington on the inbounds leads to an easy layup by UTEP. UTEP really upping their man-to-man pressure after starting the game in a 2-3 zone.

Back-to-back alley opps to Raffington and Turman will probably cause Tim Floyd to rethink that zone and just stick to man. FAU is shooting 62% from the field right now.

14-14 with 11:03 left. Miners have tried everything from man-to-man to the 1-3-1 zone but Botley and Poole are still getting in the paint. Raffington is 100% from the floor with 8 points.

That "should" come to an end next season…not that Raffington will be here, but we will have two scorers down low to contend with instead of one.

They obviously are opening the door for someone else score, so launch the Trey!

Trapp has played 10 mins still looks a bit uncomfortable on the offensive end. 0-1 from the floor with 1 rebound.

Of course Trapp nails a three as soon as I type that. So far the Miners 1-3-1 zone has not been extremely effective but they keep sticking with it.
