wow! I get this feeling that the year we beat Miami we had 3k but I'm not sure how true that is

I remember that game vividly. I had class that night and couldn't attend…beat them in OT by 1 point  ;D.

Last night's game attendance was the largest I had ever seen (including ESPN2, FIU, etc.). We got there 10 minutes before tip-off and had a hard time finding prime seats. I just wish the boys would have come out in the beginning with the same intensity as they showed in the second half. It was definitely a good comeback run though.

We're still in 1st, a loss is humbling for them. Hopefully they can come back from UNT with a win which will be very tough. They played better in the 2nd half of course. Attendance has been way up this year over years past. The FIU game really may be insane. It's a Saturday night, people are getting word that the team is playing well and well it's FIU. I wouldn't be surprised if 3,000 people showed up for that game. Now hopefully the team comes out to play because you know FIU will

Great environment yesterday…Only complaint is concessions could be better and of course it would have been nice to leave with a win but I'm not upset about the lose played a bad game still had a chance to win it better to come now then later.

Not only the concession stand needs to improve about the food quality, but the logistics of the assigned seats in the general area.
My tickets had assigned seats and I had to sit somewhere else. This could alleviate some misunderstandings with other fans. Remember that some people are not that nice when you tell them they have to sit somewhere else.

I could be wrong but seating is like first come first serve. Maybe when attendance starts staying high, people will have to sit in their own seats.

It'd be nice but that's not going to change. The university contracts that out to a catering company and they're not going to change their vendors or way of doing things.

Furthermore, you kind of have to expect half-assed food as a sporting venue. I know I've never had decent food at one – not even at professional venues. It's always overpriced hotdogs, nachos and the worst Papa Johns pizza a human being can tolerate.

Even so I usually got a hot dog, chips and a soda at halftime when I'm in the Burrow. Kind of a personal tradition.

Hopefully in our new Arena, whenever that opens, we'll have something above the level of carnival food. It'd be nice to have a reputation for decent food at our concessions, draw in a few more people than you might otherwise.

Lower level on the west side is assigned seats, upper level on both sides are general admission.

I got there at 5 to seven and had to park past the Oxley and sit past the north baseline.  When you get to sit and park wherever you choose normally it was a bit annoying but happy to see it.
