Multiple players had stand out performances today.

This is not including Rutherford’s second best scoring day of his young career. He shot 12 today while his career high is 15 against Louisiana Tech. Center Ron Delph had a strong performance on a 10 points and 5 rebound day despite fouling out with 6:24 left in the game. Trapp had a couple of FGs and a freebie to give him 5. Connor Shorten, who Coach Curry called the MVP of the game, scored his first basket of his college career. Shorten finished with 4 points and 2 bourds.

All the respect to Charlotte, who put a scare into us all late in the contest.

Charlotte’s Joseph Uchebo had his sixth straight double-double. The Nigerian made 20 points which accompanied 13 rebounds. Braxton Ogbueze made 15 points, all of which came in the second half.

This was my first game of the year. I will agree with Curry.#30 Shorten, came off the bench and was very physical against their center who was taking it to Delph. He even brought some attitude. Although UC made it close, it never felt like we were going to lose. The team looked pretty good. I will attend another game. Love the look of Cylla. He will be very very good .

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.
