Tonight's episode of "National Geographic Explorer," which airs at 9 p.m. EST, will feature work that is taking place at FAU's Marine Laboratory at Gumbo Limbo. In the show, titled "Ultimate Shark," Dr. Stephen Kajiura, FAU assitant professor of biological sciences, and his students, Tricia Meredith and Mikki McComb, are shown conducting experiments. The program will air both nationally and internationally. For more information, go to http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/ET/popup/200702192100.html or contact Dr. Kajiura at [email protected] or 561-297-2677.
I watched it and they did have a short segment with FAU students. They didn't say they were FAU students. The narrator called them "researchers in Florida"
There were two people in a lab doing an experiment on a shark. One was wearing an FAU polo shirt otherwise you would have never known.
