Until getting into some trouble for the age of attendees.

People could slip in on the patio, and then drink what others bought inside with ease.

With the Rat on campus, we never had to go to any local clubs. Beer companies would hold promotions, bands on weekends, and with friends working the door and bar, life could not get better. The legal drinking age was 18 and many younger girls would try to sneak in to be with the "more mature" college guys. Having a friend as the bartender was quite possibly the greatest gift god could have given us. What a great two years. There was a local band called Hotlanta that would pack or over flow the place. Ten dollars in your pocket and you were set for the night. What great memories.

For the late 90s early 2000s crowd! $5 at the door and 50cent pitchers all night. Then they moved to drunken karaoke from 12-5am on Fridays. What a great spot…

Yes! I think that was on Tuesday nights lol. Surf Cafe on Spanish River I think used to have 10 cent drafts all night

Has anybody played the UF/FSU ones? I can't imagine you have, but I wonder if they had off-campus places too. They must have to make it interesting.

EDIT: Looked at the Gatoropoly board (since I'm very familiar with Gainesville) and it's mostly on-campus stuff, though some of the categories are vague like "grad school."
