FAU revises student alcohol policy

Does anyone know about the RV policy at Lockhart?

If I paid for 2 parking spots would I be able to bring my hardside down, which is towed behind my car?

I want to leave it connected to the hitch, and simply extend the awning and break out the grill, but Ive never seen RV's parked at Lockhart.

I checked the FAU site about lockhart and Tailgaiting but there is nothing on there about a RV or towed campers. It does state know full sized towed BBQ's so Im not sure if this falls into that category or not.

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

Re: FAU revises student alcohol policy

We asked about the RVs last year. The Lockhart people said you're not allowed to bring in anything that's towed, ie flatbed trailer, BBQ grills, tiki hut on wheels. And RVs are supposed to park on the North side of the stadium, but I know a few families of players that have rolled in and parked right near us on the South side. But I'm not sure which category towed campers fall into. Would be worth a call to FAU.

If you call FAU, I suggest talking with Sean Todd, the Coordinator of Football Operations. He'll know the answer.

Re: FAU revises student alcohol policy

THIS IS USFPOOP (BULL$HIT)……..

a) yes with the exception of a handful, these rules wont hurt anyone.  There are only a hnadful of fans that will get out there early enough for this to affect their tailgate plans.

b) Kegs were banned since 2003, there were too many greeks going nuts with kegs back in the day, and this past year was the 1st year that they enforced this rule.  Also if the keg is in a car it is hard to see…..thus being allowed (in a round about way).  So nothing new here

c) Last time i checked they told me i couldnt tailgate early before……and yeah…..NO ONE IS THERE AT 7/8am, and no one will be there at noon……there is no gate and nothing stopping people from gathering in advance…..The only people there is a older guy with his two sons that run the parking lot…..and he is cool (just give him a beer in a cup)

d) i had to pay for an additional parking spot last year 2x for my tent…..and i am not worried about paying again this year…….

e)If they dont allow people in, then there will be a back up on the road….example see the FIU games……they will learn the lesson that the diehards will be there regardless of the stadium being open, and it is more dangerous to have them partying on the street than in an empty parking spot.

f) COME AFTER ME I'M A MAN!!!!!!!!      JUST TRY TO STOP ME, ILL FIND A WAY OR MAKE A WAY
