While we're at it…..

Dirty Mike any way we can change the name of the mascot? I think if you asked 100 students what the name of the mascot was

25% would say Owlsley

25% would say Owsley

and the other 50 would probably say I have no idea!
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

This Tues and Weds, students can vote on the name of the new mascot durring the student Government Elections.

There will be a choice of 4 names… i can't say what they are yet but i think you'll be happy.

Just a question but is this becoming a new "tradition" to change the mascot every 5 years?

I happen to like the current mascot (with the exception that the costume needs to be cleaned more often) but we just need to get someone consistently to wear the costume! Sometimes there is someone in the suit and sometimes not. Even then you never know if the person is going to be enthusiastic and have fun with it or sometimes they just stand there. :/

Please let this be the last mascot change we have!
