If you notice on the video, he has a big pink purse. That could have contributed to the confusion as well…. Hard call when you have to handover an expensive piece of equipment and your not sure who is who..the mistake they made was not getting their manager….

Right on the money, if there was an issue it should have been brought up to a higher level person right there at the desk.  I have to agree with Boozie in saying that if your going to dress/act/sound like a female when your a male you will be scrutinzed more.  Is it right? who knows, but it happens and you have to expect that.  Its not much different than kids who dressed like goths, west coast gangstas, or even the greasers back in the 50's.  When you look and act different, people stare, its just the way it is.

Imagine how bad things will be when something at FAU is actually newsworthy???

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Dear FAU students,

Your future degree is an investment...like a stock or mutual fund.  If you continuously bad mouth your university (i.e. call the news channel for a non-story) you are trashing your investment.  If you are so inclined to make your degree a joke, you should really consider transferring to a new university....maybe FIU?

I am not sure when calling attention to yourself because you are wronged became so popular.  This is the same as going to a restaurant and being served cold soup.  The manager comes out apologizes, gives you a new soup, and comps it on your check.  You DON'T call the heath department!!

If the librarian was confused about whether he was the same person on the Owl Card she could have just asked to see a driver's license. If the names are the same and the pictures are similar, I don't see what the basis for denying the laptop is; scan the card, give him the laptop and forget about it. The laptop goes missing, he gets a hold to pay for it. Just like everybody else.

So yeah, the librarians are in the wrong here but let's not make a federal case about it.

Try getting on a plane with this scenario and your logic.  I'm sure the TSA will be more than accommodating.
