Lol
I think you better look into that.
The speculators have been setting the price for quite some time now - and we all know that laws govern that right.
He should be addressing that as the leader of the nation.

My Master's in Economics from our great university does not mean I am an expert on the subject but I would sure hope it means I know what I am talking about. Please read this article
What Determines Oil Prices?
Speculators play on the market, just like with any other commodity. We have somewhat of a chart for dummies at work on how oil prices are determined its a long chain of events but it begins and ends with the consumer. I can take a pic tomorrow.

But, for the sake of the article you posted, will pull a fact to support my premise:
Unlike most products, oil prices are not determined entirely by supply, demand and market sentiment toward the physical product. Rather, supply, demand and sentiment toward oil futures contracts, which are traded heavily by speculators, play a dominant role in price determination.
IMO, the "sentiment" is driven by political conditions (non physical) and drive the speculators position; which has driven the price.
Democrats blame speculators for driving up oil prices

What I do not understand is why the stage was not placed behind the goal (where the band usually sits) and the reserved-lower level of seats rolled out. That would have added hundreds if not 1,000 more seats to the arena. The press could have been placed in the stands area below the sky boxes.

Prints are always available.
I am not a nice dresser, but in respect for the event, I worse dress slacks, a dress shirt and tie. I was by far the best dressed print/Web reporter there. The only better dressed media were the on-air TV people. The TV camera people were, as usual, dressed like SLOBS, with denim shorts and old concert T-shirts. It was embarrassing to them and me.
I want a print of that badly. PLEASE pm me how to purchase that.
