More Housing and Parking on the way?

I always thought the mandatory meal plan was a way for the university to guarantee that there are no starving students (especially first time in college) on campus.

Yep, that's the party line and there's certainly a lot of truth to that because a lot of these kids probably don't have any idea of how to budget appropriately over the course of five months.

I only paid $325 a month for a single in Napsack back in the day…wow.

Haha! I think there's very few of us on here that remember Naskapi or whatever it was called. I think Napsack sounds better

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Re: More Housing and Parking on the way?

Any renderings of the dorm structure available anywhere to see?

Sounds nice but in the future you are gonna need pretty damn good grades and some cash to attend FAU!

Too early for that. PGAL, who designed all of our recent housing projects (IVA, HPT, GPT, etc), just got awarded the project. Knowing that, however, you should be able to get a general idea of what it should look like.

University Architect Tom Donaudy also said in the University Park meeting with the City Council that our new dorm "would have a lot of the same things" as the UP project. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say the new building would be more IVA than GPT.
