More on FAU's waitlist

This time from Scott Travis of the Sun-Sentinel
Topic Galleries - South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com

Interesting numbers:
- 13478 applied so far for 2500 freshman slots (Summer and Fall)
- Last year at this time, only 8841 had applied
- 3000 students denied so far this year
- 400 on a waitlist

Select quote:
"FAU has morphed in recent years from a commuter school to a more traditional campus. Its football team won two consecutive bowl games, and students say they enjoy the modern recreation center, residence halls and dining facilities."

Re: More on FAU's waitlist

Travis does work for the Sentinel, but when I spoke with Kim Miller, the Post and Sentinel have some kind of understanding that if the competitor is covering something, they can share.

Maybe it wasn't Miller who told me, but I think it was.

Sorry, sorry… I thought Travis worked for the PBP. As a result, I didn't even check the header.
