There actually is a body wash and shampoo, which needs to be prescribed by a physician that is supposed to rid your body of MRSA.  But if it is treated properly with antibiotics in the hospital, you can get rid of it as well.  Pts who have had this have an infection alert which pops up in the hospital records, but will not have MRSA at future admissions.
MRSA started spreading after the common use of antibacterial hand soaps.  These soaps were intended only for hospital and medical professional use.  For everyone to use antibacterial soaps at home will just kill your skin's natural bacteria which can help protect you from infections.
