It's pretty much a known fact that schools like Michigan, Duke, Virginia, ETC are one step below IVY league schools.  I'm not saying UF is a bad school in fact it's the best in Florida along with UM and FSU.  However, Florida Universities just aren't up to par when compared to top public Universities in the country.  If UF was such a top tier institution they wouldn't have to be cutting programs left and right like the rest of Florida schools do.

I dont really feel like doing the research and posting it…cant you just believe me?  ;D  UF is no doubt the best academic school in Florida…but that is kind of like being the smartest retard in the room. The Florida schools are very popular because they are in Florida, but their academics dont compare.

Either way…I didn't go to any of those "top tier" schools so I really dont care…however, I would like to punch the next UF person that calls that school "The Harvard of the South" right in the teeth.
