I agree that there are two sides to every story.  However, I think the University needs to branch out on this.  The "bad image" scenario seems way too far fetched.  An athletics department  or administrative scandal would be far more damaging to a Universities image then being  on the same site as a shady advertisement.

How about this?  FAU has a contract with Nike to make athletics gear right?  It's a well known fact that Nike uses overseas factories to make their products to save on production costs.  Nike and companies like it have for years been targets of human rights groups.  The workers in these factories have no employee rights and usually make less than a dollar a day (pretty much slave labor).  So by the marketing guys logic FAU supports sweatshop labor practices.  Am I right?

Just include an "opt out" clause…if they air anything of objection, FAU can opt out…im sure the Company would have no problem with this.
