Lady Owls Shut Out By WKU Tonight; Need Two Wins Tommorow For NCAA Bid

FAU fell behind early tonight, giving up two runs in the first inning, in route to a 6-0 defeat in a re-match with WKU. Click HERE for an official Box Score.
With the Lady Owls held scoreless, the Toppers would add runs in the fifth and sixth innings, and seventh innings.
FAU would load the bases with two outs in the seventh, but Kerri Croney popped to second to end the game.
Carrie Ann Potter went five innings in relief of Gressley. Becky Brandies went 2-for-3 in the loss for FAU.
The two teams will sqaure off for what will be their third tournament meeting tommorow. The game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the FIU vs. Louisiana-Lafayette game, at approximately 12:30PM EST.
Winners will then move on to the Championship Game, which will be televised on CSS at 4:00PM EST.
