Losing Woes Continue As Lady Owls Drop Game Three To ULL
The game was delayed for nearly two hours due to rain.
FAU’s best threat came in the fifth inning when Amber Barton led off the inning with a single and advanced to second on a ULL fielding error. However, she was left stranded at third.
FAU will conclude a seven-game homestand with a three-game Sun Belt series against ULM this weekend. Saturday’s doubleheader begins at 6:00PM EST.
Florida Atlantic is embarking on what could be their worst conference record since joining the Sun Belt. Half-way through the 24 game conference schedule the team is 3-9. Out of the four teams left on the slate, three are above the Owls in the standings. The next two series against ULM and WKU will prove crucial to tournament seeding.
