The War Hawks (5-13-1, 0-10-1) were outshot by the home team 11-8 in total attempts, while the squads drew even in corner kicks at three each.
Brittney Nash netted FAU's first score just under twenty minutes into the action thanks to a well placed ball by Gabriela DeVries from 25 yards out.
After a 1-1-tie at the break, Meagan Borger would connect on her second goal of the year shortly into the second half; putting FAU ahead for good.
The team will conclude its 2011 slate this Friday against Florida International in Miami. Match time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Re: 2011 FAU Women's Soccer Schedule
FAU's offense struck early, taking a 1-0 lead, as Jesse Shugg booted her eighth goal on the year in the sixth minute of the first period.
All things considered, the Owls' defense kept relatively good pace against a blistering Panther offensive which posted a 19-6 overall advantage in shot attempts and a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.
The breakdown would come in the second period as FIU (11-6-2, 8-1-2) took advantage of a penalty kick to score the tying goal in the 54th minute, then netted the remaining two in what would end up being just over a six minute combined span.
Breanna Lewis would take FAU's only shot thereafter, as a comeback attempt was not to be had.
The Owls, who have been plagued by injuries, finish the year ineligible for the Sun belt Tournament with an overall mark of 6-11-1, and a 2-8-1 record in conference play.
Shugg, and Brittney Nash tallied two shots each for FAU, which saw seniors Gabriela DeVries and Meghan Brown in their final action.
