The men's soccer team concluded the 2012 season on Sunday with a 2-1 loss to Hartwick College.

FAU (2-13-1, 0-7) struck first blood with a goal by Joseph Rodriguez in the 41st minute to take the lead into the break.

But the Hawks responded with a pair of goals scores in just under seven minutes during the second period to seal the win.

Hartwick (5-10-2, 2-5) out shot the Owls 14-9, including an 8-3 mark in the latter frame.

Seniors Jeremy Crumpton, Karol Chorak, Tyler McNabb, Timothy Merrigan, and Vincent DiBullo each saw their final game  for Florida Atlantic.

Daniel Mendes paced the offense with five shots for the afternoon.
