The Florida Atlantic  volleyball team was defeated by no. 25 WKU (25-17, 25-13, 23-25, 25-20) in their  Conference USA opener on Friday. The Owls are now 5-10 on the season.

A stellar offensive performance powered the Florida Atlantic University volleyball team to a sweep (25-21, 25-14, 25-22) of rival FIU on Friday night. The Owls hit .287 as a team, their second highest mark of the season. FAU improves to 6-10 on the year and 1-1 in Conference USA play.

A stout defensive effort, coupled with a well-rounded offensive attack powered the Florida Atlantic University volleyball team to a straight set (25-17, 25-20, 25-19) win over Charlotte on Sunday. FAU improves to 7-10 overall and 2-1 in C-USA play.

FAU volleyball won thier third straight match with a straight set (25-14, 25-13, 25-10) victory over Middle Tennessee on Sunday.  The Owls upped their record to 8-10 overall and 3-1 in C-USA play.

Florida Atlantic held the Blue Raiders (4-16, 1-5) to just 24 kills in the match, the fewest allowed this season. The Owls allowed Charlotte just 27 kills in their previous match, tying the fewest given up all season to that point.   

The owls had three players notch double-digit kills, led by Maja Ristic’s 15. Sigourney Kame (10) and Gabrielle Dixon (10) joined her in double figures.

A fifth set victory capped a dramatic come from behind win for the Florida Atlantic University volleyball team as they defeated Rice (14-25, 26-24, 18-25, 25-18, 15-10) in a matinee on Tuesday.

The victory was the first five set win of the season for FAU, having gone 0-5 so far during the year. Maja Ristic had a season-high 21 kills. She added 15 digs for her seventh double-double of the season.
