FAU volleyball withstood a furious rally from North Texas to win a five set (25-19, 25-19, 22-25, 23-25, 15-13) match on Sunday. The win is the fifth in a row for the Owls (10-10, 5-1 Conference USA).

The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team swept Louisiana Tech (25-15, 25-12, 25-20) on Friday night. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Owls. FAU improves to 11-10 on the season and 6-1 in conference play, while Louisiana Tech fell to 10-14 and 1-7 in C-USA.

FAU volleyball extended its winning streak to seven with a hard fought four set win (25-22 22-25, 25-20, 25-22) win over Southern Miss on Sunday. FAU now stands 12-10 on the year and 7-1 in Conference USA.

FAU volleyball clinched a spot in the C-USA Tournament with a sweep (25-18, 25-11, 25-15) of rival FIU on Friday.

The Owls will play in the C-USA Tournament for the fourth consecutive season after winning their eighth straight match to improve to 13-10 on the season and 8-1 in league play.

The current win streak is FAU’s longest under Head Coach Fernanda Nelson and the Owls remain in sole possession of second place in C-USA.

The team held FIU to a .012 hitting percentage, the lowest of any opponent this year, and continues its best start in conference play since the 2005 season.

The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team saw its eight match winning streak come to an end with a four set (19-25, 26-24, 25-19, 25-14) loss to Marshall on Sunday. The loss drops FAU to third place in the Conference USA standings.

Florida Atlantic  volleyball lost to UTSA in straight sets (25-15, 27-25, 25-7) on Friday night. The Owls fell to 13-12 overall and 8-3 in Conference USA play with the setback.

FAU fell behind 13-4 in the first set and was unable to recover, falling 25-15. The Owls led 22-16 late in the second frame, but the Roadrunners (17-6, 8-3) rallied to take the lead. After a Genesis Viera block tied the score at 25, UTSA won back-to-back points to seize a 2-0 lead. The Roadrunners blitzed the Owls in the third set, using a 12-1 run to complete the sweep, 25-7.

FAU volleyball lost to UTEP in four sets (25-19, 25-20, 14-25, 25-22) on Sunday. The loss was the third in a row for the Owls, who are now 13-13 overall and 8-4 in Conference USA matches.

Maja Ristic led the Owls with 13 kills and posted nine kills, just missing her 10th double-double of the season.

The Owls return home to close out the regular season against UAB and Charlotte on Thursday, Nov. 10 and Saturday, Nov. 12, respectively.

The Owls snapped a three match losing streak with a straight set win (25-16, 25-19, 25-14) over UAB on Thursday night. FAU now stands at 14-13 overall and 9-4 in Conference USA play.

Kristi Tekavec led the Owls with 12 kills on the night. Abbi Reid had 11 kills and hit a team-high .421.  Maja Ristic posted 10 kills and 10 digs for her 10th double-double of the year.

FAU close out the regular season against Charlotte on and Saturday, Nov. 12 at noon.
