Campus Recreation Building Tour...

Seeing those photos make me want to be an undergraduate student again! (although, I've said that every time I go back to FAU.)

The "Between the Palms" theme is also on the outside of the Rec facility, correct? If I remember correctly, inbetween the Rec facility and the Alumni Center is a stone walkway lined with palm trees. So students from IRT/Housing area will walk through the Breezeway, through the alumni center/rec center plaza, and into the stadium, which are both lined by palm trees.

Very nice area. That part of campus will be "booming" come August. And the best part is that students will see the Alumni Center and the Student Alumni Association's activities and become active alumni when they graduate.

Re: Campus Recreation Building Tour...

I am from class of '79 and came to class and went home, typical of what the school was built for originally. VERY NICE to see the improvement and that FAU has become a REAL UNIVERSITY. I feel that many (actually probably most) from my era never actually considered FAU a "real" university which is why alumni donations suck!

I'm from the class of '80. I lived on campus. The students that lived on campus were different. I'm sure most of the guys I lived along side in Dorm 6 are giving, especially to athletics.

The changes are good. I wish I were an undergrad there again.
