With the slow time in FAU Sports coming up, I have thought about this quite a bit. This is what my master plan would be for the Athletics department.

1.) Naming rights. Forget the big name splash corporations. I would target companies like Publix, Sikorsky, or other local companies to offer naming rights deals for them at a competitive rate compared to other ones.

2.) moving soccer complex: I would start a capital campaign with the plan of moving the soccer field over behind the Oxley center and make it a first rate facility for the programs. Of course with the move, renovations of the Oxley would come with that.

3.) Capital campaign combine Baseball/Softball complex: I would start a capital campaign to move the softball field over near the baseball field and create a combined complex with the gates/concessions/offices/locker rooms/ training rooms all in the area where the pool/diving center are. 

4.) Captial campaign for new swimming facility. This campaign would be run in conjunction with the baseball/softball campaign, with the ultimate goal of building the new complex on the old soccer field or on the softball field. 

5.) Campaign for a new arena: basketball needs a new facility to recruit higher level talent. The old burrow would stay in place to be used as a training complex, while the new arena would go either on the vacant parking lot near the stadium or on the softball field once it is move. 

That is what I would do, but hey all I can do is dream.
